It is not a simple procession and not even a custom born in recent times: for over a century and a half, the Sacred Icon of the Madonna of Casaluce has followed a precise calendar, moving from one community to the other. The most awaited moment arrives every year on October 15th, when the image of the Virgin leaves Aversa and is brought back to Casaluce, where it will remain for the following eight months.

Sending a letter to the Pope is not just a simple communication with a religious authority—it represents a desire for communion with the Church. It is a way to seek comfort during difficult times.

Many faithful feel the need to share their story with the Pontiff, ask questions, or simply request a prayer. Others believe that confiding in the Pope about personal difficulties, seeking spiritual advice, or sending small gifts as a sign of gratitude can help create a connection with him.
