Faithful to the Benedictine rule of &#8216;ora et labora&#8217; (pray and work), he did not limit himself to preaching but was a builder of civilization: he reclaimed land, introduced new agricultural techniques, and founded the famous Abbey of F\u00fcssen, destined to become a spiritual and cultural beacon. Popular tradition keeps the memory of his miracles linked to the agro-pastoral world vivid, a sign of a holiness that knows how to take charge of the material and spiritual needs of the people.
