The presence of representatives from the Council of Christian Churches of the Marche region represents the most current core of the celebrations, transforming one of the symbolic places of Marian devotion into a space for dialogue and shared invocation. The celebrations begin on the evening of Monday, September 7, with the traditional torchlight procession in the historic center of Loreto, accompanied by the recitation of the Holy Rosary. Leading the prayer is Monsignor Gerardo Antonazzo, Bishop of Sora-Cassino-Aquino-Pontecorvo, who arrived on a pilgrimage with the faithful of his diocese, many of whom are wearing traditional Ciociaria costumes.
