The Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary represents one of the highest moments of Marian devotion in the Catholic Church. The historical roots of this practice are anchored in modern spirituality, but found their turning point and universal consecration in the 20th century, particularly following the apparitions at Fatima in 1917, where Our Lady herself expressed the desire that the world be consecrated to her Immaculate Heart as a way to obtain peace.<\/p>
