Request for the 2018 Religious Tourism Report

Vaticano.com has compiled a report assessing the impact of religious tourism in Italy in 2018.

The data processed in this study was collected directly by Vaticano.com through the administration of a questionnaire aimed at evaluating the actual (and perceived) impact of religious tourism on industry operators.

We received approximately 500 responses, representing a significant sample both in geographical terms, coming from all regions of Italy, and in terms of the type and size of the managed facilities.

The report will be officially presented in Assisi on June 17, 2019, on the occasion of the International Religious Tourism Exchange (BTRI).
